Scrambled eggs!
I recently went to the Boxford Café and Wine Bar for brunch, and let me tell you, the scrambled eggs with feta cheese and chorizo were out of this world! The flavours were just right and each bite was a treat.
Not only was the food great, but the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knew their stuff when it came to the menu.
I also have to mention the beer I had with my meal. I tried the ‘Small Beer’ and it was so tasty and refreshing. It went perfectly with my brunch.
The menu at the Boxford Café and Wine Bar is small but full of dishes that use, I was told, locally sourced ingredients where possible. There were plenty of interesting wines available too, as you would expect from a wine bar!
The café had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with charming décor that added to the overall vibe of the place. I made use of their outdoor seating and enjoyed brunch in the sun.
On top of all that, the café is in a beautiful historic village with stunning surroundings and local legends. Ask the staff about the lion in a motorcycle sidecar on the village sign!
Overall, I highly recommend the Boxford Café and Wine Bar. The food, service, atmosphere, and surroundings were all above and beyond. I can't wait to go back and try more of their tasty dishes.- Meal type

Absolute delight of a little village cafe. First visit today was lovely. Girl serving was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help, unlike other independent cafes we've been too. Got drinks were very good as was the 3 cakes me had. The board games were a great little surprise, which my 3yo daughter loved getting involved in. Will definitely return in the future!

Murray hosted my daughter & son- in- laws after wedding meal. It was a small gathering of family & friends. We had roast chicken & beef with all the trimmings - it was delicious. We had gluten free & vegetarian options too. Murray had prepared a champagne reception & was attentive throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Murray & the cafè for any small gathering.

Great service, good food with loads of selection of savoury and sweet dishes. Seating outside
A very quaint, beautiful cafe in a beautiful village. Lovely GF chocolate cake! Actually one of the best I've ever tasted. The staff are so friendly and the coffee is just perfect. There's also a lovely wine/gin/whisky room. Will definitely be coming back to do some wine tasting with friends. The cafe has lovely french feel to it, definitely worth a visit! Just Beautiful!
So great to see a local independant village cafe be so successful! It has become my regular spot for a coffee and cake or sandwich. Excellent food & coffee, and very reasonably prices. The portion sizes are that of a true Suffolk cafe. Cally and the team are a real asset to the village, and it so fantastic to see it so busy.

We arrived at Box River cafe in the pouring rain, soaked through as we had been walking our dog and got caught in heavy rain. This cafe is a real little gem, the staff are so welcoming, the coffee and cake were excellent. The owner really went the extra mile and we thank you for this. See you next time we are back in Suffolk. I highly recommend this cafe.

The Box River Cafê has a great ambience, and is well worth seeking out, in the Suffolk village of Boxford (Near Sudbury).
They have a range of homebaked pastries and cakes, which are to die for!
If you want to be impressed, you certainly will be at the Box River Café. 10/10 from us!- Service

Popped in for coffee and cake, well I had tea.....in a proper mug no silly teacup. My friend had coffee and a big slice of cake which not only looked lovely but she said was delicious. Nice bubbly atmosphere, only drawback is the coffee machine is so loud, my friend uses hearing aids and she was struggling to distinguish talking from the machines loud drone. Albeit we will return, for more beverages and yummy cake.
